Project Manager - Creative Services

**This is a full-time, temporary role for up to 60 days onsite in Lewsville, TX. Salary is up to $90k. There is NO guarantee that this contract will be extended or go permanent.**

The Role

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for establishing a project management discipline to effectively manage the lifecycle of creative projects within the creative services group. Operating within a fast paced, Agile environment, the ideal candidate has familiarity estimating creative project timelines, and extremely strong communication and organization skills. This newly created position is tailor made for an established project management ninja, capable of wrangling a fun group of creative warriors ready to wreak havoc… artfully of course!

Responsibilities

- Define a process (including associated documentation & tool selection) for managing project scope, SLAs and end to end project schedule.
- Implement project management discipline, training cross functional stakeholders to adhere to the process.
- Partner with creatives and business stakeholders to plan, scope & produce great work
- Create and manage timelines for creative projects
- Support the stakeholder in managing expectations for project deliverables in a timely and clear fashion throughout the process
- Interface between creative team and cross functional stakeholders, many of whom are remote
- Organize & lead stakeholder working meetings
- Prepare and distribute progress reports
- Proactively identify & assist in resolving project roadblocks
- Conduct research into project-related issues and products
- Proof projects prior to presentation to business stakeholder

Skills and qualifications

- BA or Master's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of project management experience, ideally in a creative environment
- Extremely strong organizational skills a must
- Extremely strong written & verbal communication skills
- Effective negotiation and conflict management skills preferred
- Strong ability to mobilize teams to meet common goals
- Expert knowledge of both agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
- Project Management fundamentals (e.g. PMI or equivalent) and Industry-specific certifications (as and if applicable)
- Agency experience is very strongly preferred
- Proficiency with project management software, Microsoft Excel, and/or other Microsoft Office suite of products.
