Job Description

Freelance Broadcast Producer, TVC & Trailer Production

Our client, a fortune 500 gaming company, is seeking an experienced Freelance Producer to work on our Broadcast Production team in the
Creative Services (UCS) group located in San Francisco, CA. UCS specializes in creating video assets, TV spots and gameplay trailers for the Brand Marketing group. This is a freelance position, and the producer will need to work on-site.

Our ideal candidate has a strong background in the production of TV commercials and
trailers, with experience that includes working with small teams and managing the workflow between editing, motion graphics and sound design. We are looking for someone that has exceptional communication skills, has a positive attitude and is easy to work with. The candidate should also have excellent organizational, technical and troubleshooting skills.

Experience working in a short turn-around environment is a must; familiarity with the video game and entertainment industries is a plus. Advertising agency background is also a plus.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with internal creative team, clients, legal team, freelancers, and
vendors to produce TV spots, trailers and video projects
• Create and manage project schedules and budgets
• Track and deliver assets, submit assets for approvals to clients and other parties
• Coordinate meetings, take and send out meeting notes
• Manage all aspects of production, from concept approval to final delivery
• Negotiate with and manage vendors, work closely with internal video production team and freelancers
• Lead and/or assist team as needed

Requirements:
• 3-5 years of experience in a producer role creating video content
• Proficiency in MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
• Knowledge of Final Cut Studio, After Effects, Mac OS, and video formats/codecs
• BA degree from a 4-year university/professional school preferred; equivalent work
experience accepted
• Well-organized, highly self-motivated, flexible, and enthusiastic
• Must be able to work independently and well with others as part of a team
• Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines; remains calm & collected under
pressure
• Must be able to get along with a wide range of people and personalities
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously
