Accounting, Payments Operations and Budgeting Contractor (Senior Associate/Project Manager Level) - needed to help two internal teams manage the Retail Partner promotions with one of our Fortune 500 Financial Services clients

Job Description
Bachelor's Degree required; Masters degree in Accounting/Finance a plus
5-7 Years Experience in Corporate/fast-paced environment
Client would like this person to start ASAP - onsite interviews to start (no phone screens). Ideally starting 6/24/13 for a 10-month assignment.

Responsibilities
General
• Budget / Forecast Aggregation for Rewards Dept
• Cost-Center Level Assignment
• Troubleshooting
• Creates and Manages “Rewards A/R and A/P” general e-mail inbox

Payment Activities (Extras, Shop and Redemption programs)
• Merchant Invoicing and Tracking/Collections
• Invoice Processing: Ariba invoice tracking (90 – 110 per mos), invoice issue resolution
• Discover Payments to Vendors and Tracking
• Gift Cards/E-Certs and Corporate Card Management
• Automation of invoicing/payments
• Monthly Reporting to teams
• PO Issuance, Extensions and Accruals
• Vendor Management Office liason
• A/P Vendor # Creation
• Risk Assessment Process
• Charity monthly payment
Controls
· CBB vs. Commission reconciliation (control)
· Inventory vs. Redemption Reconciliation
Experience in Ipierian Accounting Software required. Reports will be pulled from this bi-monthly and presented to various internal stakeholders.
