Aquent is currently sourcing for an Project Manager for one of our expanding and innovative clients local to the Minneapolis, MN market area. The ideal candidate thrives when planning projects and has a solid background delivering projects on time and within budget. As a Project Manager, you will be adept at managing and overseeing multiple projects and seeing them through from conception to delivery. You will also be responsible for providing conventional agile project manager leadership, in addition too, providing Scrum Master services, as needed. This opportunity is in a busy, fast-paced, yet collaborative team environment and is surrounded by individuals who have a great eye for detail! 

Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate and monitor the Scrum process
  • Counsel, coach, and mentor employees and partnering with them to initiate, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies and procedures
  • Verify application results by conducting random or planned system audits of technologies implemented
  • ​Maintain product backlog and release plan, and facilitate productivity by setting up meetings and removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the team's sprint goals.
  • Recommend creative strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating the organization outcomes
  • Manage project budget and Status Reporting.
  • Preserve flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to changes.
  • Preserve assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security
  • Conducts complex work important to the organization.
  • Manages project budget from beginning to end.
  • Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects within the information technology department.
  • Oversees all aspects of projects.
  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project.
  • Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects.
  • Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project.
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Perform regular risk management to minimize project risks
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Manages project budget from beginning to end.
