Project Management System Implementer

Contract Length:  4 Months

Location:  San Francisco, CA

 

Summary:

Brought in to support the setup and implementation of the new project management platform, Workfront (formerly known as AtTask).  Prior experience working within the Workfront platform and comprehension of how to use and configure it for optimum project management performance is mandatory for this position.  The ideal candidate will possess a service-centric mindset, as well as professional experience in project management, enterprise marketing practices and technology tools to support – including project tracking, resource management, and performance tracking systems, databases, and content management / production principles.  The PMSI will report to the Program Director, and will apply the input provided by the Program Management Team to help build and configure the new Workfront PM system.  Your key objective will be to launch the platform and provide system administrator support until such time as a long-term plan of support is established.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Operate as the day-to-day project manager for the Workfront Implementation project – your goal is to partner with the vendor to configure and launch the system and coordinate the internal Program Management Team alongside the Program Director
  • Gather and document system requirements, completing configuration steps yourself when necessary
  • Synthesize vendor setup steps with Program Management best practice to drive effective configuration of the system
  • Communicate and delegate actions to relevant partners to achieve task completion and next steps
  • Work to solve issues or problems where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors
  • Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
  • Understanding of metrics and reporting, with ability to analyze and make decisions from such data
  • Develop and maintain strong business partner, and cross-functional relationships
  • Maintain close relationship and alignment with Marketing Operations, Marcom and Creative peers
  • Through the implementation process obtain critical training and expert knowledge of the system in order to operate as the lead Trainer for other stakeholders (train the trainer methodology)
  • Document and develop Workfront Standard Operating Procedures and guidelines for teams to follow after the system is launched

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 4-year college degree, preferably in Marketing, Business, or related area
  • Minimum 2 years in marketing project management, or related business experience
  • Minimum 1 year experience working on the Workfront or AtTask platform, you may have worked as a project manager using the system or have worked on a team that administrated or implemented the tool
  • Outstanding program/project management skills
  • Familiar with basic enterprise marketing technology tools and concepts, including MRM, DAM, and Content Marketing
