Project Lead

This position will support strategic and tactical projects to meet aggressive growth targets for the Commercial division. The Project Lead will also be responsible for the development of business requirements, project communications and all project documentation, as well as to author documentation that will require business process analysis and design. The role will involve organizational and business process analysis and a solution oriented approach to challenges and issues.

Responsibilities:
• Support the implementation of projects and sales incentives by coordinating with internal and external resources and working with cross-functional departments (Sales, Marketing, IT, Dealer Compensation, Finance).
• Demonstrate full accountability for all tasks and proactively manage action items, issues and deliverables. Drive progress.
• Support multiple projects and/or process improvement initiatives simultaneously (in various stages of implementation). The majority of these projects will be related to launching new offers, dealer compensation, and functional IT projects.
• Support any dealer compensation escalations by researching root cause and drive resolution while working with cross-functional teams.
• Work independently with limited supervision to drive progress and manage implementation.
• Be the primary point of contact for project or program issue escalations and resolution.
• Facilitate and lead cross organizational discussions and meetings.
• Elicit requirements from stakeholders, create documentation and partner with cross-functional teams to implement the desired functionality.
• Develop and maintain standard project documentation including business rules/requirements, action items, agendas, minutes and project plans.
• Confirm technical requirements drafted by IT and participate in systems discussions.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing process. Write test plan and cases, conduct UAT and work with IT on resolution of defects.
• Provide project updates to management that include progress, risks, issues and mitigation recommendations.
• Ownership of all project implementation timelines and deliverables
• Document current and to-be business processes, provide recommendations for enhancements and implement changes.
• Provide ordering system release support and manage through the IT process.
• Identify potential problems and formulate solutions that achieve business needs.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree and with 4-6 years of relevant project management experience including development of detailed business requirements is required.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills required, including a qualitative and quantitative skill set.
• Experience supporting multiple projects from inception to completion.
• Desire to work in a fast paced, dynamic and product oriented environment.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues and design appropriate solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to translate customers' needs into timely and accurate responses
• Leadership qualities, including meeting facilitation, time management, organizational skills and ability to influence others.
• Ability to prioritize work, accommodate change and adapt accordingly.
• Excellent communication skills, including ability to tailor communication to audience to achieve desired results.
• Proficiency in standard MS Office applications.
• Experience delivering results in a fast moving, challenging environment.
