With general guidance and coaching, responsible for initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing application and system implementation projects using a formal project management methodology. Typically manages one project of moderate size and risk or multiple small projects concurrently. Oversees the system development process. Develops detailed plans and schedules, including goals, risks, and resource allocation. Monitors project metrics for significant deviations in quality, cost, or schedule. Adheres to Project Management Office policies, procedures, and methodologies. To a limited extent, coaches and mentors individuals on the project teams. Provides feedback on project team members' performance to their leaders. Some knowledge of the Project Management Institute's standards and terminology. Oversees client/customer relations to ensure that service expectations are developed and met.
• Coordinate all involved areas of a project
• Establish comprehensive project timelines, including all facets of a project (i.e., charter/design/pilot/facilitation/evaluation) and incorporating customer (Business Owner, Sales, MAs, etc.) need in deadlines
• Execute proactive, timely project reporting to work group, leadership group and executive staff
• Track and communicate status of project and issues
• Escalate/resolve issues pro-actively
• Assist Project Leaders and Managers in defining plans for roll out and execution
• Manage execution of the plan from a training and completion perspective
• Assist executive and sales leaders with special requests
• Manage project and task tracking spreadsheet for all Sales Force Development tasks
Tasks Include:
• Charter approval, design, review, practice, Train-the-Trianer, pilot, training dates, printing dates, evaluations dates, executive summary, etc.
• Send weekly reminders about tasks due
• Track down team members when tasks are past due
• Run weekly project status meetings for Sales Force Development
• Maintain a training calendar for us with overlay
• Comprehensive calendar of all trainings
• Attend initial meetings to help determine project needs/timeline
