Project Coordinator for Print (WELL KNOWN RETAIL COMPANY!)

We’re looking for a talented production and project coordinator for a large, well known retail company! This is a full time role and on-site for 2-3 months.


The Project Coordinator/Production manager is responsible for maintaining project plans and schedules for all active projects. The Project Coordinator will coordinate with schedules and tracking print services and other orders and provide project updates to management. 


Principle Functions and Responsibilities: 

• Prepare and deliver timely, routine status reports to management and cross-functional task holders that efficiently communicate project volumes, scopes, schedules, status, costs, risks, and related analyses 

• Collaborate with the Creative Services department on planning efforts to load-balance and meet deadlines 

• Coordinate production, pre-press and print quality management services with vendor’s global facilities 

• Communicate job issues including but not limited to risks to schedules, costs, and quality on a timely basis. Actively seek and communicate mitigation opportunities and solutions 

• Collaborate with various departments to support the achievement of their project and production goals 

• Collaborate with the supplier for timely delivery as needed 

• Seek approvals, reconciliations and clarification, with task holders executing content revisions, all content comments during the formal review processes

Job Specifications: 



• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in marketing or business related field 


Work Experience 

• experience in publishing or print, print or digital project management or supply chain management environment 



• Strong knowledge of the print production process for advertising, catalogs, visual merchandising, packaging and print collateral 

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe CS, and Filemaker Pro 



• Strong analytical skills 

• Ability to think through advantages and disadvantages of a situation before making a decision 

• Ability to multi-task, be flexible, and work in a fast paced environment 

• Possess strong sense of urgency (makes it happen) 

• Maintain records in a logical, user-friendly system 

• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills required 

• Ability to communicate effectively (both orally and written; work cooperatively; ability to be discreet and diplomatic at all times; ability to function independently, manage multiple responsibilities 


Physical Requirements: 

• Ability to communicate promptly and accurately via computer, telephone or similar device with or without assistive technology 

• Ability to perform sedentary and physical work
