Project Coordinator

Our client, leader in Wearable Digital Cameras, has an IMMEDIATE need for a Project Coordinator for a six month contract!

Responsibilities:

Lead regular cross-functional project meetings with team & supplier
Regularly update project status and follow up on open items with relevant team members
Drive projects to meet schedule, cost, & functional requirements
Manage Mounts/Accessories sample requirements from internal customers (Photo/Packaging/Sales/etc.)
Manage allocation & distribution of samples
Support project management staff with the tracking and task management of projects
Collaborate with project managers to control change, adjust budget/PO’s, schedule
Follow up on tasks and ensure deadlines are met
Assist project managers with production of timely, detailed summaries and high-level reports to provide key information to stakeholders within the organization
Proactively communicate project status and risks to appropriate team members
Coordinate activities with vendors
Ensure project documents are archived


Desired Skills and Experience:

2 – 3 years of Project Coordinator experience OR 1 – 2 years of Project Management experience
Well-organized, detail oriented
Self-starter
Fundamental understanding of product development process
Enforce deadlines in fast-paced environment
Experience working with cross functional groups – nice to have
Familiarity with project management software (such as AtTask) - nice to have
Project Management/Coordinator background in consumer electronics company is preferred
