Project Coordinator

Plans and coordinates scheduling, budgeting and administrative tasks associated with packaging development projects. Supports packaging initiatives by facilitating project logistics such as meetings and conference calls with project stakeholders.

Coordinates packaging projects; establishing the necessary activities and monitoring timelines to complete projects within budget while meeting anticipated "on shelf" date.

Communicates project status, issues, schedule changes, etc. to both internal and external project stakeholders. Problem solves and develops solutions for challenges that may jeopardize timeline. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Project Coordination* Project Collaboration:
- Participate in Brand/Category strategy meetings with Project Manager, Design team, Brand Manager, Marketing team and other critical participants to determine design direction.
-Organize bi-weekly meetings with Creative team to ensure projects remain on track and the team has what they need to execute the design.
-Coordinates with Program Management on project financials based on scope of project.
- Request necessary project information not previously received as a part of the MIC process, i.e. die lines, printer info, samples, copy etc.
- Collaborates with Design and Production team on timing for art release to vendor in order to establish and publish complete timeline.
- Price project for all design related work based on scope of project.
-Coordinates art development, release and approvals:
- Arranges concept review meetings with Designer, Pro Mngmt, QA, Brand Manager, etc. to ensure design is in line with overall project objectives and strategy.
- Releases artwork with necessary direction to vendor or printer.
- Proofreads and routes artwork to internal and external parties for review and approval.
- Route artwork to internal and external parties for review and approval.
-Arranges and facilitates conference calls and communications between project participants to keep projects on track and resolve issues.
- Reconcile feedback from all project stakeholders and communicate the necessary artwork revisions to the Designer, Production Artist, vendor or printer as needed.
-Procure packaging final packaging samples for department label library.
-Review samples for accuracy and resolve issues as necessary.
- Follow up to ensure tasks are completed correctly and in a timely manner.
- Process billings and invoices on a timely basis, recording accurately in ProjecTrac.Work with Accounting and other internal participants in order to resolve billing issues, process credits and issue internal billings.
