Aquent is sourcing for a contract Project Coordinator to work in a Creative Services Department for a CPG Company. This will be a long-term contract starting ASAP.

BASIC PURPOSE OF POSITION
Under the direction of the Project Manager or Administrative Manager coordinate the labeling projects with other departments, members and product vendors. Ensure timely completion of projects. Includes database maintenance and well as other project related functions.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Plan, coordinate, and assist in the completion of packaging projects. This includes:
• Entering projects and project related data into database
• Identify and set timelines for actions required to complete packaging projects to meet anticipated “on shelf” date.
• Communicate process, activities and actions with projected timelines to project participants.
• Gather necessary project information such as native art files, die lines, printer info, samples, copy, etc.
• Identify and communicate issues that may jeopardize timeline and develop solutions.
• Aggressive follow up with vendors and project participants to keep projects on track.
• Update project status in tracking system as well as maintaining accurate comments within project.

• Participate in regularly scheduled staff meetings to determine information needs, confirm project progress, identify factors that may jeopardize timelines, discuss problems/solutions.

• Regularly provide reports on project status to the Project Manager, Admin Manager and other project participants. If issues arise, enlists help from the appropriate parties to maintain project timelines.

• Develop and maintain up-to-date and complete project files; update ProjecTrac on a timely basis.

• Assist Project Manager and Administrative Manager with training of incoming Project Coordinators on process

• Bill vendors for project related costs timely and accurately. Carefully reviews projects to ensure that originally quoted design charges are appropriate based on scope of project. Should project criteria change; review with Project Manager or Administrative Manager to determine necessary adjustments to redesign charges.

• Pay all vendor invoices related to projects in a timely manner.
