Our Leading Media Entertainment Client is looking for a Project Coordinator.
We are seeking a Project Coordinator who will be responsible for managing product development schedules in support of corporate financial and time-to-market objectives.
Specific responsibilities include:
-Create, update and maintain project schedules to capture critical path data for new product development using web-based systems. Function as an advisor in product development and process in order to identify areas of delay, initiate remedial or proactive action, and participate in solutions to meet plan goals.
-Publish weekly milestone reports allowing visibility throughout the organization worldwide of product development plans.
-Facilitate and schedule status meetings in a cross functional environment. Lead the team in the review of the critical path development schedule. -Assign accurate and timely project numbers which serve as financial tracking identifiers and in some cases licensor tracking identifiers.
-Audit critical data points across respective product lines. Responsible for identifying potential problems and discrepancies and collaborate with team members to determine necessary schedule modifications.
-Develop effective working relationships in all related disciplines. Preference will be given to candidates that that possess the following:
-Associates degree in Business or Management required. B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent preferred
-Process and project management experience in product development environment preferred.
-5+ years project coordination experience required.
-Experience in meeting facilitation preferred.
-Demonstrates excellent organizational and time management skills-ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Proven ability to analyze as well as coordinate data, and ensure accuracy.
