Project Coordinator- Product Policy

The Product Policy Coordinator will be responsible for supporting a formal issue management process for the Consumer and Merchant business units. Primary objectives include end-to-end issue management (identify, document, assign, monitor, report) and closure of policy issues related to products and processes.

The successful candidate must be able to work collaboratively with global product teams, engineering, core policy teams (Risk, Compliance, Information Security Management, Legal, Privacy, etc.) and other stakeholders to ensure for accurate identification, analysis and prioritization of issues; appropriate plans are identified for remediation and remediation plans are progressing and on schedule.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the issue management process; this entails the following:
o Identify and assign owners to drive issues to logical closure
o Engage and facilitate conversations with stakeholders to ensure root cause, scope and implications are understood
o Monitor and ensure the remediation plan is progressing and on schedule
o Obtain signoff from all applicable stakeholders
o Ensure all issues details, updates and signoffs are documented in issues database
o Maintain and submit monthly issues registry to Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)

• Drive monthly issues review meetings with global policy teams & ERM
• Monitor and escalate issues as required
• Compile and report on key metrics used in dashboard reporting
• Implement corporate issue management standards
• Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures
• Review and improve existing processes/procedures and tools
• Manage and drive JIRA requirements and changes
