In this role you will write/create new PowerShell cmdlet reference topics for new cmdlets. Revise existing cmdlet reference topics and any directly-affected content for new/changed/removed parameters. Complete work in alignment with product release schedule.
Investigate and verify cmdlet topic tags are correct for all products.
Identify and share cmdlet reference topics that work in both EXO and on-premises Exchange into the EXO node on TechNet. Within these topics, clearly identify the parameters that are on-premises Exchange only or EXO only. Clearly identify the cmdlet reference topics that are exclusive to either EXO or on-premises Exchange Server.
• PowerShell token and reusable text element work (RTE): Collapse multiple parameter description tokens into single, voiced token/RTE that can be used across multiple topics. Identify parameter descriptions that are suitable for tokens/RTEs. Identify parameters that could use “helper” tokens RTEs.
For all work:
• Conduct technical reviews, incorporate review feedback, and obtain required approvals.
• As necessary or directed, send content for editing or review. Incorporate edits.
• Work independently, with minimal supervision, but also with members of the content publishing team, program management, development, test, support, localization, and other partners, as needed to successfully create and update PowerShell content.
Adhere to content development guidelines and style best practices, including following content workflow processes and using prescribed tools and other resources.
