Program Marketing Manager (Contract)

Position Summary
This position is responsible for supporting the retail marketing, channel marketing and regional marketing pilots and campaigns. This work includes coordinating ongoing marketing efforts with geographically-targeted marketing strategies and campaigns to ensure that the products, programs and brand are well represented and promoted. You will be directly responsible for partnering with agencies and vendors on implementation of joint marketing channel strategies, partner launch activities, events and promotions, partner communications, and lead generation. Success will be measured by your ability to facilitate campaign activities that drive measurable results including customer engagement, energy savings, and participation in programs.


Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in related discipline is required
• 3-5 years of related Marketing experience or equivalent
• Awareness of current technology, trends and best practices in marketing, including thorough understanding of strategic Marketing and all elements of the marketing mix
• Experience working with and coordinating partnerships, which may include: community based organizations, business groups and trade organizations
• Demonstrated ability to create and execute in-store retail merchandising programs that communicate both brand messaging and product benefits
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills and demonstrated resourcefulness
• Understanding of delivering and reporting measurable results
• Experience managing relationships with clients and vendors

Responsibilities
Partner with retail and channel engagement strategist, product and marketing managers and external vendors to implement strategies that align with customer needs and wants. Be an active participant on the Marketing team, contributing cross-business perspectives, ideas, and learning.

• Align marketing initiatives for new and existing residential and business marketing programs
• Coordinate and manage in-market events and promotions
• Provide support with copy writing for printed collateral, press releases and website messaging
• Coordinate routing and obtain company approvals for materials and communications
• Proactively make recommendations for updating existing customer-facing approaches
• Work with the agency partners to enhance channel and partner success through gained efficiencies, lead generation and conversion of leads
• Identify and execute co-Marketing opportunities in coordination with internal stakeholders as well as external parties including retail partners, community based organizations, and trade groups
• Partner with creative agency on message creation, testing, and campaign optimization
• Stay current on market trends, technological innovations, and best practices;use this information to create accurate recommendations and forecasts
• Provide on-going project management to track all of the deliverables from inception through delivery, working closely with partners
• Develop a thorough understanding of the key channels through understanding channel analytics, customer requirements, competitive environment (in terms of shelf space) research and field travel to key channel partner event; analyze and interpret key sales metrics by channel for use in strategic decision making process
