Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Program Manager to support their Austin team onsite. This contractor must be able to adapt well to change and should have previous experience with Project/Program Management as well as previous channel/global role experience. Candidates with experience in Salesforce, Oracle or in Business Intelligence and Analytics would be considered as a huge PLUS. This is a 4+ month contract.

Description: The Partner Program Manager is a well-rounded individual who has excellent communication, organizational, sales, marketing and interpersonal skills. The role requires a proven track record in messaging/positioning, business development, and broad execution capabilities. A requirement is to communicate effectively with the key stakeholders at a Global and Geo level, along with management within the Solution Provider Route to Market.

Responsibilities:
• Be a subject matter expert of Company’s Solution Provider Program
• Align and tune programs to continually support Company’s go-to-market initiatives, strategies, and priorities
• Leads or contributes to partner process/program development and channel program strategy development on a global and/or business-wide level.
• Provide project, program, and resource management support to program/projects and activities.
• Coordinate and monitor functional area activities, compile and prepare information, and interface and communicate frequently with employees, management and external contacts.
• Develop organizational process improvements including project templates (status, budget, and incident reporting, plus resource and problem management).
• Create and distribute multi-level communication and status reports (core team, extended team, executive team).
• Prepare monthly/quarterly documents and/or reports for management/business review.
• Schedule and/or attend meetings and coordinate logistics as required.
• Prepare program/project documentation such as presentations, reports, etc.

Requirements:
• 5 years+ experience in high tech industry (i.e. Cisco, SAP, Dell, IBM, HP, Citrix, Microsoft) in any of the following capacities: global partner programs, channel management, product marketing, sales programs/promotions
• 3+ years experience in a channel role with resellers or distributors (i.e. TechData, Avnet, Arrow, Ingram). Value Added Reseller (VAR) experience is preferred
• Partner enablement and market acceleration experience is beneficial
• Understanding of partner/channel landscape and business models is a requirement
• Must understand the reseller business model and their go-to-market strategies and challenges
• Must possess the drive to achieve quick results, and have the capacity to assume increasing responsibility in a highly successful, fast-paced global organization
• Demonstrated ability to bring structure to ambiguous environments and relate well to people at all levels of the organization.
• Past successful experience in a matrixed and global role
• Demonstrated success in project management and program management
• Expert analytical and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills
• Bachelor's degree required
