Program Manager

The Program Manager is responsible and accountable for staying in-tune with the global automotive industry landscape and identifying key new trends that will shape the automotive industry in the near-term (less than two years future). It is this role’s responsibility to stay abreast of competitive pressures in the marketplace that could diminish our client's unique advantage and/or identify enhancements needed to provide products and services that are at-par with the industry-standard solution offering. This may include: identifying and recommending new product lines or extensions to existing product lines, supporting new product launches, monitoring and recommending strategies to enhance operational efficiency; tracking the business value of partnerships and investments. The Program Manager will initially work closely with the Global Operations team to launch products. This includes ensuring that products support the company’s overall strategy and goals. S/he will understand key priorities of the Global Operations Team and will manage tasks and responsibilities in line with those objectives. Additionally, s/he will be responsible, as required, to lead the Development Process on key solution enhancements. This process includes, but is not limited to, market research, vendor research, vendor negotiations, and presenting development requirements inclusive of ROI to the client's Executive Leadership team. The Program Manager will be required to manage, measure, monitor and communicate solution performance, manage quarterly product plans and work cross-functionally with Technology, Marketing, Legal, Finance, Sales and Support teams to Canada initiatives. Post launch, the Program Manager will be responsible for product/service planning and execution throughout the lifecyle of the product, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, revising the product vision, and working closely with technology, sales, legal, finance, and communications to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are continuously achieved.

II. Essential Functions (primary responsibilities and accountabilities) :
1. Point-of-contact support for all needs of the Canada Digital Sub-Committee, and questions and challenges related to digital program, performance and roadmap.
2. Create process flows of current state for meeting preparation and presentation and design optimal state flows through dealer assessment process, and program strategy process.
3. Define, manage and execute the product/service strategy and roadmap.
4. Identify and understand emerging technologies and contribute to the overall direction of the product development process.
5. Develop and maintain strong and effective working relationships with clients and service providers.
6. Work closely with vendors, retailers and the internal team to resolve problems, identify solutions and execute projects.
7. Support business case analysis for developing and validating new products, services and solution enhancements.
8. Work with teams to define and perform usability testing for new and existing products and services.
9. Analyze and interpret data and metrics for reporting purposes.
10. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, monitor project status, troubleshoot obstacles and provide outstanding communications to all stakeholders throughout product development cycle of new and/or enhancements of products and services.
11. Develop and lead presentations to communicate product or service vision, roadmap, and/or strategy with internal and external customers.
12. Develop, track and monitor, and analyze product/service performance metrics.
13. Maintain keen oversight of product/service performance to ensure that product/service is functioning properly and consistently to meet the needs of the clients, customers, business owners, and leadership.
14. Lead strategic research to identify new trends in the automotive and digital marketing services industry.
15. Lead competitive research to ensure current products and services remain on par to meet client needs.
16. Review competitive data on a regular basis to position our products and services to exceed our competitor’s capabilities.
17. Develop and manage a structure to support communicating key industry and competitive intelligence across the organization.
18. Work with internal and external customers to align their business needs to possible creation or enhancement of products and services.
19. Collaborate with members of the executive team to determine requirements and provide direction on product development roadmap.
20. Participate in the identification, evaluation and selection of third-party vendors whose services are required for the success of the product/service.
21. Work closely with IT to manage vendors and ensure that vendors are performing to expected performance levels.
22. Participate in the identification, evaluation and selection of 3rd party vendors whose services are required for the successful completion of a project.
23. Work collaboratively with agency and client teams to develop concepts for future products.
24. Analyze performance of existing products and highlight new opportunities.

IV. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.
Education:
BA/BS in Business Administration or other related field required, or commensurate related work experience.

Experience:
 Must have at least 3 years’ experience working with retail team members in the automotive industry.
 Must have at least 3 years’ direct solution selling experience.
 Must have experience working in digital marketing in the automotive industry, preferably in an automotive marketing services environment. Specific Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities:
 Must have strong digital marketing knowledge (SEO, SEM, social, etc.).
 Must have strong knowledge of automotive retail.
 Must be able to apply forward-thinking and creativity in situations that require novel approaches.
 Must be trustworthy and operate with ethical standards.
 Must be a well-organized and self-directed individual who is "politically savvy" and a team player.
 Must be able to present a professional image and be able to relate to colleagues and customers at all levels.
 Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
 Must be able to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
 Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret digital performance data, and create continual improvement action plans.
 Must have the ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
 Must have the ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations to management at all levels of the company, to the field and dealers, and occasionally to outside organizations.
 Must have ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure.
 Must have ability to grasp complex concepts and systems quickly, and express them in simple ways to a lay audience.
 Must have the ability to develop effective presentations and facilitate one-on-one or small group meetings.
 Must have ability to operate in a systematic and logical manner, with use of good judgment.
 Must be comfortable working in ambiguous situations.
 Must have ability to work the time necessary to complete projects and/or meet deadlines.

Travel Required (Approximate): Less than 25%, domestic and international
