Strategic Account Development Manager As a Strategic Account Development Specialist, you are responsible for identifying, prospecting, and close deals with leading online retailers/Marketplace sellers to on board compelling assortments within multiple high-growth departments for our customers at the client's site. Creativity and agility will be paramount as you identify retail trends and synthesize information to understand the needs of critical segments such as the Millennial Customer Segment. Position Description • Develops and implements strategic account pursuit strategy for multiple departments or categories • Identify a set of target sellers that can offer the selections to meet the needs of the client's Customers within the target categories • Prospect and engage in meaningful discussions with targeted sellers to generate awareness and desire to join our Marketplace • Evaluate and select interested sellers using key criteria such as selection uniqueness, price competitiveness, on time fulfillment and customer services excellent • Work with the onboarding specialist to ensure sellers are quickly onboard on our site • Self-starter and high quota achieving sales professional Minimum Qualifications • Locate in the Bay Area, CA • 3-4 years of strategic sales experience • Documented history of exceeding quotas • Understanding of the online retail space • Demonstrated ability to work cross-organizationally, aligning multiple stakeholders and internal teams • Exceptional analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
