The role: Program Manager

As a Program Manager, you will be a key member of the product team that is building innovative accessories and companion products across a range of hardware categories. In this role you will drive the day-to-day activities to meet the overall program objectives, focusing on product and engineering design, development and launch planning, and product validation cycles. You’ll manage cross-functional communication and technical dependencies with other teams, creating and driving the overall schedule, identifying and mitigating risk at all stages, and defining the overall rhythm and meeting touch points between teams including engineering, product management, industrial design, reliability, supply chain, marketing, packaging, and sales. You’ll also be engaging frequently with our external partners including ODM partners and channel partners.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain project schedules. Redirect pitfalls and develop a better course of action.
- Provide regular executive-level updates on overall project status.
- Lead cross-functional communication between project teams and external partners/ODMs.


Additional Responsibilities:
- Enable the development effort by creating and monitoring an efficient, streamlined process.
- Provide timely issue resolution and critical path management.
- Offer multiple levels of status across a wide spectrum of individual contributors to executive management.
- Understand technical issues and drive them to closure by bringing together key stakeholders for decision making.
- Work with vendors to drive material to support engineering building.
- Lead accessories product testing (dogfoods, reliability, usability).
- Proactively identify resource requirements in order to drive development processes and increase efficiency.

Required Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree, no specific field required
- 6-8 years of experience in program management, project management and/or technical partner management/operations

Nice to haves:
- Consumer electronic hardware experience, ideally with some experience in the accessories industry
- Self-starter with ability to conceive of and accept responsibility for projects and see them through to completion, must be able to to work as individual contributor and to contribute as part of a larger team
- Capable of leading through influence; holding project leads accountable to the greater project goals
- Deadline and detail-oriented. Exceptional problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Strong project management skills, demonstrated by strong track record of delivering (successful) consumer facing hardware that has shipped in high volume.
- Excellent written and oral communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse range of people and job functions.
- Proven ability to work as part of a fast-paced team
- PMP certification or equivalent
