eCommerce client is looking for a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join their eBook team. This team owns programs, services and features that increase their eBook selection. This role is responsible for enabling a seamless flow of book content and metadata through the digital supply chain, from publishers and content providers all the way through to book consumers.

This role will own the operational relationship with publishers and content providers, coordinating internal and external stakeholders on initiatives to grow the Store E-Book selection. The role will work side-by-side with internal business teams to identify and surface catalog which is not yet available on eBook store to the publishers. It will also work with the publishers and content providers to acquire and ingest content for the eBook store.

The successful candidate will be a strong self-starter, thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment, be well organized, have a demonstrated ability to solve technical challenges, and be able to credibly coordinate between internal operational, technical and business teams and external stakeholders.

Position Responsibilities:
· Staying on top of new book releases and changes in customer interest in physical book catalog.
· Interacting with publishers to maintain alignment on eBook customers' priorities in terms of new selection to bring to the Store.
· Initiate and build relationships with publishers and other content owners.
· Provide daily support to publishers on content production, ingestion and use of client's specific formats and tools.
· Consistently improve content provider and client's customer experience by delivering superior publisher support, and by relentlessly advocating for content providers throughout the enterprise.


Basic Qualifications
· Experience managing relationships, cross-functional teams, programs, and/or products.
· Strong creative and analytical problem-solving skills, strong sense of ownership, and a self-starter.
· Proven track record in process improvement and operational excellence.
· Excellent written and verbal communication, and a track record of relationship management.
· Knowledge of Excel and basic SQL.
· Bachelor's degree is required.

Preferred Qualifications
· A passion for books and publishing industry experience is a big plus.
· General knowledge of digital media data elements, ONIX, CODECs, XML, FTP, Images, Encoding, DRM, etc.
· Technical aptitude.
· Strong, creative and analytical problem-solving skills.
