BUSINESS TITLE: Program Manager

DEPARTMENT: GMMP – Buyer and Seller Trust

JOB FUNCTION: After-Sale Improvements product launch PMO


PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

0. Support business, product, and customer launch of improvements to after sale experience – including identifying, triaging and tracking issue management and resolution through the 12 week product launch.
1. Ensure business priorities translate into actionable plans that drive execution, delivery, and business results.
2. Develop end-to-end project/program plans that define the scope, goals, deliverables, resourcing, and schedule that support business goals in collaboration with business and technical teams and other key stakeholders.
3. Create relationships with key partners/stakeholders to ensure success of critical programs.
4. Communicate on project/program progress and issues to keep team members and stakeholders informed in a timely manner being particularly mindful to avoid surprises.
5. Ensure the quality, effectiveness, and timeliness of overall project/program communication and tracking key metrics.
6. Create detailed project plans that set clear development, integration, release milestones, and support milestones.
7. Plan project/program timelines and track milestones and deliverables using appropriate tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint) and communicate progress to stakeholders.
8. Ensure optimized resource and capacity planning to achieve the project/program goals.
9. Help identify and manage project/program dependencies and critical path in collaboration with business and technical teams and escalate when needed to avoid impact to the delivery timelines, scope, and quality.
10. Proactively manage changes in project scope and ensure appropriate plans are put in place to avoid impact to delivery timelines and quality.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

1. Proven ability to organize and manage diverse, highly complex projects/programs and ensure effective collaboration and communication across business and technology stakeholders and multiple geographies.
2. Actively develop relationships with and work collaboratively with cross functional groups within the company.
3. Highly effective communication and negotiation skills in all mediums and throughout all levels of the organization.
4. Success at providing and driving recommendations which influence action.
5. Matrix manage a project or program team of individuals focused on providing project and program support across multiple programs.
6. Success in developing program/project level artifacts to support a multiple programs with concurrent releases.
7. Successful track record of delivering on agreed upon business objectives and performance on key metrics.
8. Viewed by the cross functional teams as a leader who understands project/program goals and objectives
9. Strong ability to work with minimum direction and high drive for results.
