Overview
Aquent is the leading global staffing company dedicated to finding Marketing, Creative and Digital professionals great work opportunities. To complement our staffing business, we have launched our own MOOC that delivers free training based on the real world skill gaps of our clients.

Our MOOC, called Aquent Gymnasium, provides free, online training on topics critical to advancement within the Marketing, Creative and Digital professions. Our goal is to help these professionals remain competitive in a rapidly-changing field and help clients gain access to a pool of qualified professionals.

Your Role
As the Program Director, you would ultimately be responsible for ensuring the program’s overall success. Your key goals would be to develop a comprehensive catalog of quality course offerings, ensure the conversion of students to working talent, and promote the program to drive awareness and enrollment.

To achieve these goals, you would work closely with team/department leads to coordinate the efforts of the academic, support, web and marketing teams. These efforts include:
Determining which courses to offer based on marketplace skill gaps and emerging trends
Screening, coaching and egaging instructors, TAs and other support staff on a contract basis
Ensuring assessments align to the course content and our talent screening needs
Establishing mechanisms for evaluating course success and student satisfaction
Processing qualified student leads and effectively routing them to agents for conversion
Developing a platform for delivering courses and integrating assessment for a great class experience
Translating offerings to support global markets
Partnering with marketing to devlop related content and campaigns for promotion

Required Skills
People Management
Experience managing direct reports - both full-time and contract resources, including goal-setting, performance management, coaching, etc.
Project Management
A proven ability to thoroughly think through a project from strategy to implementation with limited direction, identifying all related tasks, creating key milestones and proactively providing status updates to key stakeholders along the way; potentially managing multiple resources (internal and external) to deadlines and deliverables for multiple projects simultaneously, with the ability to anticipate, assess and address risk scenarios
Collaboration & Influence
Must be able to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team, updating key stakeholders and senior leaders as needed
Experience in obtaining results through influencing (as opposed to directing) others
Communication
Impeccable written and verbal communication skills - specifically, the ability to understand different audiences (from new hire to senior executive), tailor messaging to their varying needs while keeping it concise
Ability to organize data and get input from a variety of resources to develop a unified message
Experience using a consultative, team-oriented, collaborative approach
Flexible and open to feedback

Other Important Details
Previous P&L responsibility is desired
Ideal candidate will function best in a start-up environment - and enjoy the thrill of building something from scratch
We believe in the iterative process... bringing something to market NOW is better than waiting for something PERFECT. Each iteration should be an improvement on the last.

Technical Requirements
Design understanding: Product design, user experience, visual design, video, content, platforms, devices (technical knowledge is required; while you won’t be writing code, you should understand the relationship between design and coding)
Must be comfortable/proficient with: Mac OS, Google (Mail/Calendar/Docs/Chat)
Familiarity with project management and file-sharing tools like Asana, Dropbox, etc. is helpful

Logistics/Details
Report to: Vice President, Learning & Development
Start Date: August 1 - potentially sooner if possible
Salary: TBD depending on experience
Location: Boston (Back Bay) - onsite
