Professional Development, Coordinator & Meetings

Our client, an Association in Old Town, Alexandria located near the King Street Metro has an open position for a full-time Marketing Coordinator, handling their meetings, conferences, webinars and other areas of professional development.

RESPONSIBILITIES
· Serve as the primary point of contact for Professional Development programs, annual conference and seminars
· Manage/enter/process/input registration, invoices for all educational events including online training, classroom seminars, workshops and webinars
· Assist with planning and logistics of the annual conference
· Manage the website (where the Professional Development courses are kept) and respond to members requests
· Update policies, RFP’s as needed
· Maintain Professional Development part of the website, update and remove materials as necessary, including running statistics to gauge member interest in materials
· Assist with marketing the Professional Development programs
· Work with outside contractors/vendors on the exhibitor/sponsorship program
· Send marketing surveys (using Survey Monkey) and MailChimp
· Conduct post conference follow up with speakers and presenters


REQUIREMENTS

- Association experience
- Experience in managing meetings/conferences
- Experience in coordinating professional development/online courses/seminars…
- Computer/database exp
- Detail-oriented.
