Production Traffic Manager

The Production Traffic Manager ensures that work flows efficiently through their small, in-house creative team (1 full-time, senior graphic designer; 1 part-time junior graphic designer; 1 full-time content manager). 

Responsible for assigning incoming work, managing schedules, leading production meetings, ordering printed collateral and monthly reporting. 


Specific responsibilities include: 
• Hold daily production huddles with creative team and weekly production meetings with broader marketing team 
• Review incoming project requests (creative briefs) for clarity and completeness, correspond with project requesters as needed and negotiate deadlines as appropriate 
• Build master marketing calendar; review existing email calendars and ensure projects are on track 
• Order printing/interface with printers and vendors 
• Assign work and track deadlines / traffic jobs /maintain schedules 
• Project management as needed 
• Identify opportunities for process improvement 
• Assist with monthly reporting/analytics 
• Update department documentation as needed 
• Gain basic understanding of Trello to be able to create boards and launch projects within the Trello system 
• Monitor team email inbox for incoming work 
• Daily communication with Director of Corporate Brand Communications 
• Work closely with Creative Services team to make sure they understand work and deadlines, are on track to meet timelines 
• Quality assurance – ensure process is being followed for proofreading, legal review, brand reviews 
• Serve as a primary point of contact for the Creative Services team 
• Help ensure file management protocols are being followed 
• Manage freelance resources as needed
