Production Team Lead

The Production Team Lead is responsible for development, operations, support, and maintenance of the production portion of our customers’ email loyalty programs. Must have experience successfully managing a team of HTML developers and excel in a fast‐paced, client intensive environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of email and web production processes, including requirements gathering, and development tools and technologies.

Major Responsibilities:

Supervise a team of HTML developers, manage daily workflow, and ensure on‐time delivery of quality, error‐free customer projects
Provide team training on‐going; serve as a mentor and role‐model for other members of the production team
Maintain and work with Production Manager to enhance standard operating procedure for optimal efficiency
Develop/build/execute online marketing projects including but not limited to HTML and Text emails
Optimize, debug and test emails for usability and deliverability and platform (desktop/mobile)
Manage and debug client’s loyalty programs, including HTML and scripting based forms
Represent Production in Custom Estimate meetings to scope and recommend solutions and technologies that are appropriate for customers
Continually seeks ways to improve via automation, innovation or process changes
Actively participate in internal meetings, product releases and launches
Create custom campaign reporting
Read professional publications; participate in professional organizations to keep team competitive
Accomplishes other tasks and responsibilities as needed

Required Experience:

2‐3 years HTML coding (Tables) and web development skills
2‐3 years CSS and JavaScript skills, particularly with web forms
possesses understanding of how to use API functions
Basic .NET skills and some experience working with Stored Procedure and https
2‐3 years Microsoft SQL, (Classic ASP and VB Script nice to have but optional)
Advanced knowledge of Photoshop and Dreamweaver (or Notepad)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or commensurate work experience)
2+ years supervising, training and mentoring 3 or more HTML developers
Proven track record of timely project completion

Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as ability to distill, present and explain technical and business needs in a way provides clarity and ensures project scope will meet desired customer requirements

Strong organizational and excellent project management skills in a deadline driven environment
Strong initiative, dependability and ability to work with minimal supervision
Solid understanding of email best practices and CSS support in top email clients
Balances organizational needs to maximize team productivity and utilization with customer needs, to be nimble and flexible whenever possible
