Overview

FF is seeking an organized and self-motivated Production Manager who has a superb command of both digital & video management. Extensive experience includes managing several projects at the same time through the entire project life cycle from creative brief to asset delivery, as well as working collaboratively with our Head of Content and Creative Director. The ideal candidate must be highly organized, solution-oriented, and an excellent multi-tasker as this position is responsible for simultaneously managing multiple projects with varying scopes.

Essential Knowledge And Expertise
• 5+ years as a Production Manager in TV and digital media company.
• Four-year college or university degree.
• Detail oriented and comfort working with and balancing numbers (i.e. budgets).
• Ability to complete projects accurately and in a timely manner.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Working under strict deadlines, the PM must be able to prioritize projects and workload

Responsibilities
• Create, assess and maintain a production budget
• Hire and manage freelance crew as well as staff a production unit (PA/Shooter, Video Editor, Coordinator, Video Producer, etc.) and negotiate contracts.
• Create and update call sheets and crew lists.
• Manage the custom digital creative production needs and delivery of assets.
• Define, negotiate, communicate, implement and monitor technical quality standards and creative integrity on all project deliverables according to FF editorial and creative guidelines.
• Oversee the creation of a detailed work-flow, from field to final multi-platform delivery for all productions including both inbound and outbound content and marketing/communication assets.
• Manage electronic delivery of all programs and assets to multiple platforms, and communicate technical requirements between various Production Executives and Production Teams (e.g. YouTube, Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, etc).
• Advise series Creators, Production Companies, Production Executives and 3rd Party Production Companies on post-production practices, software, different platform requirements, and scheduling requirements.
• Quality-control final delivery of all assets before delivery to clients and various platforms for both production and marketing with special attention to the following areas: graphics, subtitles, closed captions, special effects, color, and audio levels.
• Establish and maintain ongoing production and post-production vendor relationships.
• Create and maintain pre-production, production and post-production calendars.
