Production Manager

We are looking for a talented Contract Marketing Production Manager to work within very tight deadlines to help our client flawlessly deliver marketing programs that achieve their client’s strategic and creative objectives while meeting deadlines and budgets. This contract will run around 4 weeks and we are looking for someone to start right away.

The Contract Production Manager will assume overall responsibility for managing key client projects from production brief to implementation including budget management, project scope, task timelines, establishing staffing and resource requirements, and quality of the final deliverables.

Strategy, Concept and Design Accountabilities
· Review client brief and assess requirements with Strategy & Planning group, including agreement on initial budgets.
· Confirm design deliverables, based on agreed production budget
· Produce overall project time plan with Client Services, together with Scope of Work (when necessary).
· Prepare and issue specification/RFQ documents, according to program requirements; review specifications/RFQ responses and for turnkey projects select the appropriate vendor(s).
· Liaise with venues / conduct site surveys
· Ensure any and all program design changes are communicated to all relevant parties (internal and external)

Implementation Accountabilities
· Ensure all deliverables are within the production budget and continue to manage the production budget
· Develop and actively manage vendor / freelance relationships to ensure best available resources with budget
· Management of PO system and financial flow of all fabrication/production items
· Provide a single point of contact for clarification/decision concerning development items/issues that might impact the scope of work
· Lead digital programs through planning, design, development and execution
· Manage external agencies and vendors as required

Post & Evaluation Accountabilities
· Document key learnings (non-technical) and archive any technical learnings
· Complete financial reconciliation of the production budget
· Attend debriefs and communicate results

Required Experience:
· College degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field is preferred
· 5+ years production experience with a marketing or advertising agency
· Demonstrated successful management of advertising program development including deliverables by deadlines and within budget
· Exceptional project management skills including managing various types of marketing program components including experiential, print, and digital
· Significant experience with productive vendor negotiations and management
· Ability to work independently or as part of a team to achieve client and company objectives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
· Must possess highly effective communication and computer skills
