Awesome Portland creative agency, specializing in experiences and environments with innovative ideas and a passion for execution, is seeking a Project Manager. This is a contract to hire role located in Portland. Maintain positive and professional relationships with multiple clients and accounts and foster positive learning opportunities for assistant level employees
This is a critical, client-facing position that is highly visible and demanding which requires someone who is energetic, able to multi-task, and above all, possess a commitment to excellence. Ideal candidates must have knowledge and experience in retail program management including staging and theming, solution development for two-dimensional graphics and three-dimensional displays, sourcing, production management, installation oversight, the ability to read floor plans, and coordinating logistics.
Specific responsibilities of this position include:
Develop and implement project work plans related to display production
Prepare and manage the project budget including purchase orders, vendor invoices, and final billing to the client
Manage vendor selection and relationships, and participate in competitive bidding
Oversee the quality assurance process
Make improvements, solve problems, or take corrective action when problems arise
Prepare and give presentations or briefings on all aspects of the project
Management of logistics
Remote and/or onsite installation coordination and oversight
Manage the project close out process
Ideal candidates should be able to demonstrate: Detailed knowledge of materials and fabrication techniques common to the retail and furniture industries
Strong familiarity with freight shipping practices
Strong familiarity of trade shows, events and staging as they relate to display production

Educational, Professional, and Technical Requirements: Minimum educational requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Mid-Level position requires a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
Familiar with Mac computers
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically with Excel
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Autocad, Revit, Solidworks or similar cad software
