Production Manager

Our client's in-house creative agency is looking for an experienced production manager for a short term contract with possible extension. This position will facilitate the many moving parts of the production of hundreds of how-to videos in multiple languages by multiple editing teams. You will oversee the scheduling, work-load and deliverables of a team of video editors and visual effects artists. The ideal candidate is an experienced media producer who works with editors, copywriters, producers, motion designers and videographers using resources such as voice-overs, live-action production, animation, motion graphics, and Adobe Creative Suite.

This is a very hands-on position. First and foremost a project manager, this role will do more than simply drive the project. This person is also considering the “why” and “how” and exercising a creative muscle in terms of designing workflows and creative execution.
Strong organization and communication skills are basic requirements, as well as the ability to offer unique creative solutions, change direction easily, push creativity and technology solutions, and keep in active communication with the creative director, creative team, as well as the client. When the job is done, it will not only be complete, but the role will have created better ways to do it next time.
This is an on-site contract position, Monday through Friday.

Basic Qualifications

Proven track record in project management
minimum 4 years in a creative production environment.
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite – After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop and Illustrator.
Strong organization skills - ensure clients have up to date, day to day reports and project milestones.
Robust understanding of the video production process.
Must be able to prioritize, be a self-starter, take on required responsibility and be detail oriented
Ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite – After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop and Illustrator.
Portfolio of production work that demonstrates range of skills and scope of productions.



Preferred Qualifications

Understanding of video production equipment, technologies and capabilities in the corporate environment.
Hands-on experience in production as a video editor.
Seattle area network and production and post-production contacts.
Foreign language experience.
