Production Designer/PM

Join the leading, global coffee retailer HQ'd in Seattle and bring your production talents to a winning team! Our client has an immediate need for a one year contract sitting onsite in Seattle. This role will contribute to our client's success by managing the start to finish process for content development and publishing to their ecommerce sites. This role will support an existing producer with the launch of our holiday promotion, and will transition to provide ongoing support afterwards, for seasonal and evergreen product launches.

The ideal candidate has an exceptional attention to detail, and understands the project management best practices required to bring ecommerce product and marketing content to life through project planning, resource management, creative development and review facilitation, merchandising, vendor management, and hand-off for publishing. This candidate is comfortable managing multiple workstreams simultaneously, that are at different stages of progress (launch, content creation and management, QA/publishing, and ongoing maintenance). This is a highly collaborative environment, and individuals that thrive here are very comfortable with relationship building and managing up, and are strong team players.

Summary of Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
• Supports the launch of seasonal and evergreen product assortments, marketing campaign assets and offers across five sites (US, CA, UK, FR, DE).
• Digests product priorities and identifies gaps in information provided by merchandising and product teams, and proactively works to fill those gaps, to ensure a comprehensive product launch plan is in place
• Kicks-off content creation vendors with all information and assets needed; moves this work through organization via creative, business and legal reviews to gain final approval before hand-off to publishers
• Clearly communicates business and technical requirements to copywriters and designers, and assesses if work-in-progress meets these requirements
• Provides highly focused quality assurance at all steps of process, from initial intake of product requests to final review of products on staging site before being published, as well as ongoing site hygiene
• Manages external publishing vendors to schedule product, marketing campaign asset and offer launches
• Manages complex product, offer and project timelines
• Tracks project progress to flag potential risks to a project’s success, and proactively provides updates to impacted parties
• Communicates, supports and recommends processes for improving business planning, cross functional communication, work integration and teamwork between partners from all departments.

Summary of Experience:

Project Management: 3-5 years, Experience in a creative or digital environment: 2-3, Front-end ecommerce content management and execution: 2-3 years

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
Ability to execute consistently and with high quality, to deadline and to SLAs as agreed
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Effective customer service skills
Creative problem-solving skills
Knowledge of marketing communications or integrated marketing
Knowledge of marketing program development and implementation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
