Our client is seeking a production/template designer to support their marketing efforts. This role is responsible for working with the marketing team to design, improve and communicate brand templates and guidelines throughout the firm. This role not only creates attractive, usable documents within brand standards, it also educates all departments firm-wide on their use and serves as a Microsoft Office Suite expert and knowledge base. Strong project management ability, conceptual skills in both print and digital executions and graphic design/production capabilities are required for this role. Must have exceptional attention to detail and follow through as well as the ability to work with multiple personality types. Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required.

Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and email marketing tools desired. Proven ability to contribute creative design content and sample portfolio required.
-Translate AQR corporate brand into working print and web publication prototypes to optimize the user experience.
-Work collaboratively with a variety of internal constituents to educate on usage of publication templates.
-Serve as firm-wide key contact and knowledge base for day-to-day documentation needs.
-Create improvements in departmental procedures to increase efficiency, quality and usability of current prototypes.
-Support current fact sheet and white paper publication processes, suggesting improvements in process and/or quality.
-Proficiently use Microsoft Office products: edit PowerPoint presentations, marketing materials and presentation books, create charts and exhibits using Excel and create various publications in Word.

What You’ll Bring
-Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field
-Minimum 2 years’ experience implementing graphic design projects and programs in a high demand, fast-paced environment
-Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (In Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver) and email marketing tools preferred.
-Strong conceptual thinking, with an ability to execute creative solutions from start to finish
-Strong sense of template usability
-Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate information cross- functionally
-Ability to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines while also maintaining flexibility to change focus quickly as priorities shift
-Proofreading and quality control skills focused on accuracy of typing, layout and format consistency
-Enthusiastic, open-minded and approachable
-Aptitude for learning and using new print and web software
-Interest in the asset management business
