You are a graphic designer with a sophisticated design sense. You have primarily a print design background but a passion and curiosity for all things social, mobile and digital. You are comfortable creating design solutions within the parameters of an existing brand.
You are a smart, problem-solving, pro-active team player who can think on your feet. You easily handle numerous projects simultaneously and can efficiently coordinate clients, management and vendors. You are super-organized and hardworking, and you work gracefully under pressure. You are a deft communicator with superb grammar and typography skills, as well as keen attention to detail, and a penchant for perfection. You love being part of a team, but work equally well independently.
This position is a little design, some project management and a LOT of production, largely off existing layouts and templates. As part of a small creative marketing team, you would be responsible for the day-to-day creation and management of the firm's digital and print marketing materials, such as email blasts, webpages and other site assets, showsheets, advertising, signage, pitch materials, proposals, evites and presentations. Digital skills must extend to website maintenance, list management and template creation.
BA in Design or equivalent
3-5 years experience in graphic design
Skilled in multimedia content development, understanding browser and device capabilities, internet presence, search engine optimization
Savvy with social media design best practices
Knowledge of social media applications like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and Tumblr
Knowledge of Wordress, Drupal, Sharepoint or other web based content management systems is a plus
Expert knowledge of Adobe CS, particularly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
Proficiency in MS Office
Understanding of production workflow (Pre-press and mechanical production and release)
