An independent and employee-owned company is looking for a Production Designer.

Production Designer


The Production Designer is responsible for design and production of print marketing material, advertising and web graphics. Design work is very diverse and may range from event graphics, Powerpoint presentations and sales kits to multi-page, 6C brochures, interactive PDFs and website banner graphics. Additionally, the Production Designer will manage the population of our Digital Asset Management tool to insure that correct and current e-templates, digital photography and illustrations are available to all employees worldwide.

The Production Designer will work in a fast-paced, team environment on site. Candidates for the position must be well-versed in design for print as well as web. Basic experience with rich media is desired. A collaborative, team-oriented person will work best in this culture.

  • Work collaboratively with and under the art direction of the Supervisor, Creative Services.
  • Conceptualize, design and produce print, interactive and web graphics.
  • Understand and use efficiencies and best practice in design and production.
  • Work within brand standards and communicate those standards and design principles to the entire global community.
  • Understand basic marketing concepts for reaching audiences.
  • Present concepts and layouts to clients, both visually and verbally.
  • Maintain processes for work input and output; track projects and client communication.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the team to advance global marketing priorities.
  • Work collaboratively with other internal resources and departments as required.
  • Communicate with external vendors such as printers, agencies and photographers regarding file transfers, project timelines and source-file specifications.
  • Multitask and meet challenging deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


    Academic Requirements
    Bachelor's degree in graphic design, fine arts, or related arts field and at least five years of experience in a design or marketing environment with a significant focus on design theory and hierarchies, color, typography, imagery and visual storytelling tools to deliver targeted messages.

    Software and Technical Requirements
    Must be proficient in a Mac environment and understand current Mac OS and iOS. Knowledge of Microsoft Windows interface and file handling required. Hands-on experience with Adobe CS6 InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, Bridge and MS Office 2011 required. Knowledge of Flash, Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS a plus
