As Production Designer for our team, you will prepare art files for development, websites, video, and motion graphics. The Digital Production Artist works closely with art directors, interactive designers, and the development team to build intuitive and standards-based creative assets. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, an outstanding time manager, meticulous, and detail-oriented with the ability to liaise with various cross-functional teams to execute the best digital art/production processes. 

We are looking for a meticulous Production Designer to join our Design System team. This arm of the team is responsible for icons, illustrations, infographics and other assets in Windows products and Web sites. We also support internal teams with posters, presentations, Web sites, e-mail templates and other graphic design work. The work is varied, the pace is fast and there are lots of opportunities to develop your skills across a variety of projects, in addition to the core production artist responsibilities. 

Responsibilities: 
• Maintain Brand standards with ongoing updates, maintenance, and design of supporting assets. 
• Create assets, composition, and redlines to support the X&I team 
• Resize images for final delivery for web 
• Capture and refine screenshots of UI 
• File conversion (ex: INDD, AI, PSD) 
• Tightening layouts (images/buttons on the pixel). 
• Optimizing assets (best quality/lowest file size). 
• Implement minor editorial changes to content. 
• Creating templatized assets 
• Able to produce high volume of assets to meet shipping deadlines 
• Collaborate closely with designers, writers, and developers to translate design files into redlines ready for development. 
• Support design support team on projects including visual design, illustrations and UX 

Requirements: 
• Expert knowledge of the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and MS Office programs (Word, PowerPoint). Familiarity with Figma and Sketch, or a willingness to learn is a plus. 
• 2+ years working in a design/production capacity in a digital agency environment. 
• Impeccable file structure, management and archiving. 
• Meticulous, cooperative and detail-oriented. 
• Strong experience with image compression, file correction, and optimization techniques. 
• Must be highly organized and able to work efficiently; ability to work with multiple teams simultaneously while maintaining consistency and quality across projects. 
• Ability to follow branding guidelines and specs. 
• Great communication skills 
• Online portfolio required 
• large enterprise SW company experience preferred
