Aquent's client, a large tech company headquartered in Mountain View, CA, is seeking a Production Designer for a 7–month assignment.

As a Global Graphic/Production Designer on the Retail Marketing team, you will work with creative leadership and own the design, layout and production of deliverables for client's 3rd party retail channels, both online and offline. You will work collaboratively with people on the Brand and Retail Marketing teams to understand how to translate our brand identity into tactical retail executions and also work with other designers, art directors, producers and photographers. You are an individual with a well-rounded design and production experience. Great attention to detail, and a strong portfolio in graphic and production design.

Overall Responsibilities:
- Create highest caliber of work representing client in retail.
- Build engaging designs for various campaigns and initiatives from conceptual/ideation through to production and delivery.
- Execute against several work streams in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and deliver strategically sound and aesthetically pleasing designs and creatives.

Top 3 daily responsibilities:
1. Ability to create illustrations, infographics, icons, sales decks.
2. Production work to include owning the process, building files for print or digital output and ensuring files are delivered on-time and to specifications.
3. Help manage internal asset site (housing logos, brand colors, photography, messaging, etc…)

Required Skills:
- BA/BS Degree, no specific field required
- 5+ years of of experience in conceptual and production design.
- Ability to prioritize and "switch hats" readily between designing outstanding concepts/visuals for both print and digital media to working on heavy art production projects to meet critical deadlines.
- Strong visual design skills, layout, typography and high graphic standards.
- A strong passion for details and organization: correcting the small type, building accurate files, reviewing printer proofs.
- Experience in retail design and/or marketing highly preferable.
- Expert proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and other web design tools.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with strong visual design skills, layout, typography and high graphic standards.
- Experience with digital image asset selection and manipulation.
- Understanding of content management systems and automation tools for asset creation.
- Solid understanding of how to create assets for multi-resolution platforms using industry standard software packages, such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- Significant organizational and process skills; ability to both implement efficient working processes as well as process-automation tools.
- Proven track record of exceptional performance and high productivity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven, and techy work environment in often uncertain and ambiguous circumstances.
- High energy and go getter attitude.
- Flexibility, teamwork and dedication.
