Production Designer

The Production Designer will work with the Art Director, Creative Director, Marketing, Social and Editorial teams to design and produce image and video assets to support Showtime Digital Services’ online, mobile, social and interactive television initiatives.

He/she will be responsible for:
Creating static and HTML 5 banner ad campaigns across desktop, mobile and connected TV platforms 30%
Creating custom static and motion image assets for promotion across our social platforms 30%
Creating key art crops and image assets following a strict style guide for all our digital platforms 30%
Creating email image assets 5%
Creating interactive TV image assets, and other misc production work 5%


Work Ethic / Management:

Have the ability to take initiative in answering questions or seeking out unknown information
Able to multitask many jobs at one time
Excellent time management skills.
Ability to work independently
Process and timeline oriented — ability to adapt to new processes
Detail oriented


Design Skills:

Proven strong visual design skills (solid knowledge in layout, typography and storytelling)
Ability to develop and work with existing and new concepts is essential.
Have expertise in photoshop, photo compositing and illustrator.
Expertise in creating and following multiple templates.
Understanding of web asset optimization
Experience creating animated mobile, tablet and desktop banner ads
Flash banner ad experience
Basic AfterEffects Experience
Experience with Google Web Designer software a plus


Candidates must be able to provide portfolios (PDF or online link; should include examples of Banner Ad)

Soft Skills: easy going attitude; openness and willing to learn, attention to detail; tech savvy, good comprehension skills
