Assist in developing and designing marketing materials including emails, brochures, ads, mailers and promotional pieces. May independently design smaller scale pieces. Participate on project teams to plan, analyze, organize and execute projects. Provide periodic updates to the team on the status of assignments through marketing project management system. Troubleshoot problems as they arise. May perform other related duties as required and/or assigned. This position interacts with equivalent levels of internal and external personnel. That interaction requires good oral and written communication skills and facilitation skills to understand the goals and needs of the assigned customer group and deliver a quality product. Effectiveness in this role also requires functional knowledge of relevant graphic design software. The incumbent works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of data requires a review of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures. The incumbent normally receives general instruction on routine work and detailed instruction on new assignments. Designs and produces art and copy layouts for material to be presented by visual communications media, such as brochures, emails, flyers, catalogs, technical manuals, print advertising, promotional materials, banner ads and more. Designs media in a wide variety of styles that correspond to the clients needs. Interacts with Sr. Designers and Brand Leaders. Meets or exceeds clients’ budget and time constraints. Collaborates and presents new ideas to members of the team. Monitors projects through all phases of production. Develops designs that are on strategy and aligned with brand guidelines.
