Production Communications Specialist

The Presentation Production Manager (Production Manager) is an integral member of the Portfolio Analysis and Communications Team. The position will primarily be responsible for the oversight, production, quality, and timely distribution of client/prospect meeting and marketing materials. This includes updating standard presentations, creation of customized slides, and adherence to quality. The individual demonstrates proactive ownership of the production process, the initiative to consistently produce the highest-quality presentations, and a genuine
desire to add value to the team.

Major Responsibilities
• Oversee, prepare, and quality-assure all aspects of the client/prospect meeting
materials production and distribution process.
• Strive to optimize the production process by identifying and implementing
enhancements geared towards improving effectiveness and/or efficiency.
• Demonstrate ability to create professional, high-quality presentations, provide
consultation on design concepts, layout, and grammar (when appropriate) to produce sophisticated, visually-appealing presentations.
• Prioritize work and effectively communicate issues, questions, and status of work to team members.
• Develop effective working relationships with internal clients (Client Relations,
Investment, and Executive teams).
• Provide in-depth quality control review of data and content for relevance and
consistency.
• Ensure that the SCM’s brand standards and style are applied to all collateral.
• Assist with maintenance and refinement of the firm’s digital presence.
• Coordinate and manage vendor relationships (e.g., print, business and digital service providers).

Required Skills and Qualifications
• B.A. or B.S. degree required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in complex administrative support or production department preparing business documents and presentations.
• Diligent with strong project management skills and attention to detail, accuracy, and quality control.
• Technical expertise in PowerPoint and Excel (graphs and charts).
• Strong analytical ability, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills. The ability to
anticipate and manage changing needs and priorities.
• Solid communication skills, working with internal clients in an organized, clear, and concise manner in both written and verbal form.
• Knowledge of data, statistics, graphics, and production.
• Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Ability to work under tight deadlines and heavy work volumes to deliver timely, accurate information.

Preferred Experience and Skills
• Operational experience and demonstrated knowledge of marketing, communications, investment reporting, and portfolio analysis.
• Practical experience with Adobe InDesign and Illustrator.
• Knowledge of website, digital communication development (e.g., WordPress, HTML5), and Photoshop CS6 is a plus
