Production Artist/Editor

Shooter/Editor responsible for filming and editing dynamic videos, with a team of other Shooters, Editors, and Producers found and led by the Team Leader.

This person will work with the Brand Team and will be expected to work on multiple projects simultaneously and have a strong background in graphics and After Effects.

This role will interface with Creative, Customer Support, Media, Sports Marketing, and Engineering.

In addition to content creation and delivery, this role is responsible for ensuring that the brand is properly represented.

RESPONSIBILITIES

PRE-PRODUCTION
Meet with Brand, Creative, Customer Support and other stakeholders to review project deliverables and deadlines.

Help define and adhere to necessary project workflows, guidelines and approvals.

Decide concept(s) and create storyboards/scripts for deliverables and help determine needed equipment.

Communicate project logistics thru (Basecamp, FTP, Vimeo, WireDrive) for the teams with assistance from the Team Leader and/or Producer.

Coordinate logistics (travel, lodging, transportation, gear) with assistance from Team Lead/Producer.

Help coordinate video release deadlines, with approval by Content Distribution and any Third Parties, and carry out Production and Post Production tasks accordingly.

Work with Creative, Marketing and Third Parties to confirm proper branding and distribution for all deliverables.


PRODUCTION
Film on-site projects/events and edit -- logistically and creatively -- with consideration of the brand and story concept.

Have an advanced understanding of Adobe Premiere, graphics and After Effects and be able to convey topics in a clear, easy-to-understand way.

Follow artistic direction, branding, colors and lighting, especially when in a controlled setting.

Take direction from Team Leader/Producer on concept ideas and detect missing or needed elements of storyline.

Recognize when content is newsworthy or timely and distribute it accordingly to Media,PR, Web/Online and Marketing.

Balance focus properly between video and still photos.

Have an advanced understanding of Adobe Premiere, graphics and After Effects and be able to convey topics in a clear, easy-to-understand way

Recognize when content is newsworthy or timely and distribute it accordingly to Media, PR, Web/Online and Marketing.

A degree in media is strongly preferred.

Must have at least 1 yr of experience in editing, content creation and graphics.
