Designing layouts, formats and graphics, and preparing updates to existing templates. Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Designs graphics for all components of a project including presentation and communication materials, job aids, collateral materials, covers and spines. Provides drafts for customer review. Edits and proofreads material. Reviews material masters for quality and format accuracy prior to and after final production. Handles all aspects of document and file management, including file organization, linked graphics, researching and archiving files, and preparing and sending files to print vendors. Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality. Provides camera ready or electronic files to print vendor. Manages vendor relationships to project completion. Develops cost estimates and print production alternatives that are within budget. Arranges printing and production of all components of project. Ensures projects with multiple elements are properly packaged and delivered per specifications. Records time and cost of materials and services for each project. Participates in budget preparation and forecasting. Summary of Experience: Desktop publishing and graphics design: 4 years. General business: 2 years. Writing and editing: 2 years. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Ability to perform desktop publishing and design. Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Publisher, PowerPoint, Excel) and Adobe applications (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator). Proficiency in communicating using social media and with millennial audiences.
