Major Areas of Responsibility
Collaborate with creative team to deliver content that is consistent with the agreed upon strategy, and in accordance with the brand guidelines, creative vision, and marketing strategy
Design for every medium, including identities, packaging, print, marketing collateral, online banners, websites, and social media.
Executes creative ideas based on input from project managers, brand partners, and creative team
Create and ensure proper delivery of complete, correctly prepared content per specifications or industry standards.
Encoding, formatting, and file management through distribution/delivery for internal and external facing assets.
Partner with brand, creative, project management and production to effectively meet project objectives, specifications, schedules, and deadlines
Collaborates with partners to share job status, feedback and recommendations.
Efficiently manage and complete all work on time, escalating issues as necessary.
Brings solutions, ideas, and executional considerations to team members in order to improve results.
Produce accurate and professional-level comps for presentations, meetings, and store walk-throughs.
Must be detail oriented, resourceful and have the ability to work with ambiguity, strategize, prioritize, and meet deadlines; the ability to follow-up and follow through.
Ability to take ownership of own development to improve performance and to be more effective in their role.
Communicate and collaborate with co-workers, managers, executives, vendors and agencies – to bring expertise, professionalism and enthusiasm.
Comfortable acting as an ambassador for brands and what they stand for.
Driven to find and explore new apps or techniques that support evolving content strategies – remaining current on industry trends.
Must be flexible in order to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands and opportunities.
Ability to prioritize and handle a large volume of projects in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Adobe CC apps.
Complete understanding of Mac platform and all Mac-based programs, and exposure to Windows and cross-platform compatibility.
Exposure to DAM systems and content management.
Balance of excellent typography skills, an understanding of photography, illustration, print process, and a keen eye for detail and color.
A solid understanding of file formats and their application.
Expert-level technical skills in large format printing, web/sheet fed/direct mail/pre-press, retouching, 4c printing, digital file preparation, 4-color print and production processes, and pre-press delivery formats.
Can translate design 3 dimensionally.
Proficient in fashion/lifestyle image retouching and optimization.
5+ years production artist/content development experience.
Knowledge of creative, print production, digital and media process.
Ability to multi-task and be flexible in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment required.
Ability to work additional hours to meet deadlines.
Degree in Graphic Arts Technology, Graphics Design, Liberal Arts, or a related field.
