Production Artist - Part-time

The International Production Artist sits within the Creative Department, which is part of the larger Marketing and Visual Merchandising team. The department is responsible for all campaign/seasonal development, window and in-store signage, emails and landing pages, direct mail, national advertising, packaging and store support-related design needs. IPA is managed by the Sr. Production Designer.


The International Production Designer will support the Creative Team in making visuals for Quebec & Italy & support for the U.S. Creative team.

Instore & Windows for Quebec & Italy
Packaging for Quebec
All Mechanicals for Permanent Signage Updates (as necessary)

This role is 3 days a week (the 3 days TBD.

Skills :

Must be proficient in and have demonstrated facility with Adobe Creative Suite (CS5) including :
InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Bridge & Acrobat (creating and using .pdf files for proofing and press);

Familiarity with and ability to work in Microsoft Office, specifically : Outlook and Excel.

Applicant should have a deep understanding in creating mechanicals for 4 Color Process printing for images &
retail signage well as files for retail packaging. Previous experience with both required.

Applicant should have knowledge of or an understanding of Filemaker.

Qualifications :

Minimum 2-4 years of design/production experience necessary.

Must maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Must have great attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills
both vendor facing as well as internal Business Partners/Executives.

Must have strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines
and to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
