Product Specialist

Our top payment technology company is looking for an experienced Product Specialist to support business development and client relations. This is a 3 month contract, 40 hours/ week onsite, with potential for extension (or conversion).

Principal Responsibilities
* Provide support to Clients and Sales Business Development Leaders in all business activities; products sales
* Obtain a clear understanding of the Markets including major competitors, issuing, acquiring processors and merchants, in order to support Sales Team with target sales goals.
* Ensure appropriate delivery times by internal units (legal, marketing, accounting, finance, products, membership and compliance) and be the main liaison with internal units of such to both internal and external client requests.

•Manage Clients Incentives
Work closely with sub-region's Business Development Leaders towards incentive proposals.
Monitor approvals, review contracts & assure all terms of the offer are properly identified in contract, follow-up for timely execution of the contract within the established timeframe or request sunset extensions if necessary; follow-up on progress of incentive commitments to track execution. Ensure timely quarterly and yearly payments.

•Manage cooperative program requests with Marketing.
Guide client towards process and obtain required documentation from clients in order to meet criteria for marketing evaluation.
Request preparation of contract with Legal team, follow-up until contract is properly executed by both parties. Manage post-Evaluation process with Marketing to obtain final contribution amount and ensure payment is processed.

•Membership
Handle all clients membership requests, guide them through the process and follow-up with internal parties all new submissions or any changes of existing members due to mergers or acquisitions.
•Cobranding & Affinity
Manage all cobranding and affinity program registrations with Products and Brand

Skills
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills (Required)
• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time (Required)
• Knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc. (required)

Education/Experience
• Bachelor degree in business administration or a related field.
• 3-4 years experience required
