Product Marketing Planner

Working under the direction of the business segment Product Marketing Manager, the Product Marketing Planner plays a key role in implementing new product launches and in sustaining marketing efforts for existing products and services. The Product Marketing Planner works with the business segment product line directors and managers to identify technologies that need marketing support and obtain information needed to prepare needed deliverables. The Product Marketing Planner coordinates the production of the specific deliverables with the Communication Services group and product line managers to ensure that quality marketing program elements are prepared on schedule.

Duties

 Support new product launches. Contribute to development of product launch strategies and implementation plans. Contribute to development of key messages. Coordinate development of support materials.
 Take lead in supporting existing product lines, to proactively update marketing materials including overviews, case histories and website content.
 Coordinate with product line managers and Communication Services in the development of product marketing program elements including overviews, case histories, brochures, advertisements, website content, videos/animations, presentations, sales kits and trade show content.
 Build strong relationships within the business segment product line groups
 Work to build and maintain a commercialization network of key contacts within the Geomarkets for business segment product launches
 Gain in-depth knowledge of the segment’s products and services.
 Develop understanding of marketing principles and best practices to improve product marketing efforts
 Use standard planning documents and collaboration tools as designated by the Director of Product Marketing
