Product Marketing Manager: Student Marketing
** Must have experience marketing to the student segment

The Marketing Manager for Student Marketing will be an accomplished and experienced marketing/product management professional who will have a broad background in banking and/or financial services.

Other experience should include project management, a breadth of marketing discipline including communications, marketing channels, as well as organizational and financial management skills. Reporting to the Director of Student Marketing, this role will be responsible for the development, reporting and return on investment for direct to consumer integrated marketing channels and initiatives including search and online tactics, direct mail, telemarketing and email, as well as interfacing with all of the other product marketing managers and line-of-business managers throughout the organization, including Education Finance/Student lines of business, Consumer and Corporate marketing and retail management. This position will have influence over strategic marketing decisions, marketing spend, portfolio management, retention activates, and the customer experience. This role will also be responsible for optimizing overall marketing campaigns to deliver on the core business objectives.

• Liaison/Point-of-Contact within Product Marketing – Key programs include…
• Undergraduate and Graduate student loan programs
• Post graduate education refinance loan programs
• Corporate/Community related activities within student segment (e.g scholarships, student sponsorships, etc..)
• Sales support for centers of influence (e.g financial aid offices)
• Brand/value proposition support across all student products and services (e.g deposits, mobile, lending, etc..) General Responsibilities
• Work closely with all Business Lines/SMEs/Channel Practice Leaders on specific projects.


**Must have skills for the role**

-Candidate must be an analytical thinker and have exp working on multiple types of products
-Online marketing exp; specifically knowledge of digital tactics (SEO, SEM)
-Candidate must be able to coordinate different components of campaigns, there will be a project management aspect to role.

Additional Requirements:

• Demonstrated success in strategic marketing management (student segment experience a plus) in a regulated industry, with the ability to develop and coordinate a fully integrated marketing plan and assure its implementation and execution.
• Proven experience and successes in managing integrated direct to consumer distribution channels including search, online tactics, direct mail, inbound/outbound telemarketing, and email.
• Exceptional analytical and presentation skills- ability to detect meaningful trends; able to distinguish between strategic changes in the environment and unimportant, superfluous information that is not likely to influence business decisions
• Strong decision-making and effective skills of persuasion in a large matrixed organization.
• Ability to manage budgets and volume goals, measure ROI, make cost effective decisions between competing projects.
