This contract role is for 6 months with likely extension. Ideally on-site in Ashburn, VA, but open to remote candidates as well. Background check, Drug Screen and NDA will be required.

Position Title: Product Marketing Manager w Security Software or Identity Management experience. B2B


Purpose:

The Product Marketing Manager will directly support the expansion of Identity Services in enterprise, Government and consumer markets. By creating market specific product messaging, materials and programs, the ideal candidate will play a key role in helping to accelerate growth and achieve sales and strategic goals.


Requirements:

Education: Bachelors degree from an accredited institution. MBA preferred.


Experience: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in IT security, identity management, software or mobile app product marketing. Experience needed in B2B , B2C and vertical marketing.

The Product Marketing Manager should possess demonstrated experience in launching enterprise and commercial-grade software products and marketing communications best practices including,


• Developing, managing, and executing communication strategies consistent with strategic and tactical plans to increase leadership position, visibility, and generate business opportunities.

• Writing, producing and coordinating the production of marketing assets including powerpoint presentations, brochures, data sheets, videos, promotional materials, case studies, social media and other online content.

• Creating and delivering training and other sales enablement materials. Conduct online and in-person training sessions for core sales teams and channel partners

• Writing copy for the product interface and other supporting product documentation


Required Skills:
• Knowledge of IT security and or Identity Management
• Strong writing skills – collateral, papers, creative copy
• Strong presentation skills including training experience
• Strong organizational, project, and time-management skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Graphics, formatting
• Ability to manage complex projects independently
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Essential Functions
• Create fresh, high quality content based on complex concepts for both external and internal audiences. Capable of writing for business stakeholders as well as consumers in simple verbiage, and marketing to consumers in various verticals. Create collateral, web copy /content and sales tools. Writeand/ or lead the creation of whitepapers.
• Collaborate with business managers, marketing, product development, product management and sales, to produce content aligned with go-to-market strategies. Lead the creation of product launch deliverables for new products, product enhancements and external channels.
• Perform competitive analysis, develop positioning analysis and create field ready materials such as battle cards.
• Coordinate, represent and present at trade, industry and partner events – demonstrating the solution, communicating our core messaging and generating new business opportunities.
• Orchestrate, lead and participate in customer webinars and training sessions.
• Support the expansion of developer community program including, web, content creation and events.
• Provide input to product interface copy, acting as the ‘voice’ of the product.
• Ability to respond to queries and requests via mobile, computer, table or other internet connections
