Product Marketing Manager

Project Overview: 
As a Product Marketing Manager, for 12+ months, you will be responsible for the overall product positioning, marketing strategy and driving the execution. You will work closely with a team of product managers, engineers, retail marketing, and creatives to drive awareness, consideration and purchase intent of all accessories products. 

This person can work 2-3 days in the SFO office and 2 days at the MTV office if they prefer to

Overall Responsibilities: 

  • Develop positioning, naming, messaging, and creative assets aimed at driving awareness and sales across the accessories product lines. 
  • Develop a holistic marketing plan to support the portfolio and achieve KPIs. 
  • Drive co-marketing initiatives including key documents, lookbooks, and launch comms for program 
  • Manage and provide feedback/approvals for all partner packaging, marketing assets, and messaging. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the product teams, legal, regional and store marketing teams, as well as the extended marketing organization. 


Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:

Required Skills 

  • At least 5+ years relevant consumer marketing or product development experience 
  • Proven record of taking ownership and lead own products 
  • Prior experience leading a product / marketing plan end to end would be required 
  • Ability to manager stakeholders on a daily basis 
  • Ability to think strategically, execute effectively, and deliver high quality work against aggressive deadlines. 
  • Distinctive problem-solving, strategic and analytical capabilities. Demonstrated capacity to roll out complex, multi-touch marketing campaigns. 
  • Passionate about exploring the creative boundaries around digital and physical integration. 
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally. 
  • Ability to effectively communicate and lead projects from concept to completion and lead, manage, and motivate virtual teams and outside agencies. 
  • Thrives in ambiguity. 
  • Scrappy, proactive, team player, positive energy. 


Nice to have skills: 
College degree in any discipline
