Product Marketing Manager

Aquent's client, an American multinational technology company specializing in Internet-related services and products, is seeking a Product Marketing Manager for a 6–month assignment.

This client increasingly relies on third party developers and publishers to provide them with useful structured content and services that improve the user experience for their products. To support this fledgling third party ecosystem, the Search Developer Marketing team is looking for a talented Marketing Manager to join their small, passionate and high-performing team. In this assignment, you'll work closely with other marketing managers, product managers, engineers, designers, business development managers, writers, agencies, lawyers, and others to own, drive, and execute a wide range of marketing initiatives. These could include core product marketing work as well as developing and executing marketing plans. Please note that at least in the near term this is an individual contributor role, with significant cross-functional leadership opportunities.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
1. Build a developer case study program for assigned product
2. Establish client as a thought leader in conversational UX by building and executing a marketing and comms plan.
3. Build and execute a marketing plan to promote the product to makers, hobbyists and smaller OEMs.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Support and lead some of our OEM acquisition efforts for assigned vertical
- Develop and manage a content calendar for blog posts and social posts in collaboration with the PR team.
- Manage assigned product’s presence in some industry events.

Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree (No specific field required).
- 2-3 years of relevant experience leading marketing product launches - focusing on developers
- Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and digital / creative agencies.
- Analytical and strategic thinking skills paired with strong executional bias.

- Educational background in a relevant engineering discipline.
