Product Marketing Manager

Aquent's client, a large tech company headquartered in Mountain View, CA, is seeking a Product Marketing Manager for a 12–month assignment.

As a member of the Brand and Marketing Strategy team, you will be a critical member of the core team. You will ensure consistency across hardware products and platforms, drive the vision and execution in creative development, lead brand strategy, integrated launch strategy, shape x-hardware campaigns, and drive global branding efforts.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
1. Be a strategic partner with product teams
2. Drive development of x-hardware strategy and execution, recommending key product moments for teams, and assisting in the execution of these moments.
3. Work closely with product partners, as well as cross-functional stakeholders to synchronize efforts during product launches, seasonal moments, and key event.

Responsibilities also include:
- Creative Development
Strategic partner, leading the creative cycle and review x-hardware
Ensure creative consistency and review x-hardware campaigns
Drive development of world class creative with our creative team
Drive short-term and long-term creative refreshes for key customer touch points

- Brand Strategy
Drive evolution of the hardware brand
Drive brand strategy and brand narrative
Strategic partner, leading roadmap for key customer touch points x-hardware
Shape and communicate strategic brand themes

- Brand Guidelines & Communication
Build, maintain, and manage hardware brand guidelines
Lead communication with each product team to ensure consistent and updated guidelines

- Launch Strategy & Execution
Strategize, craft & execute on integrated x-hardware launches
Manage and shape short-term and long-term launch moments
Strategic partner, leading teams responsible for main customer touchpoints

- Drive and shape x-hardware campaigns
Lead recommendation for key x-hardware campaigns
Work with team to build, manage and execute x-hardware campaigns

- Strategize and execute globally
Strategic partner, leading communication and strategy with international teams
Lead recommendations for launch cadence and scale x-hardware
Consistently communicate with international stakeholders to execute and deliver the hardware brand
Collaborate with international markets, give them a deeper understanding of the XPM team’s strategy to drive business locally, provide knowledge & launch strategy for tentpole moments

Required Qualifications:
BA/BS degree (no specific field required)
5+ years of work experience with at least 2 years of email marketing and/or customer relationship marketing experience preferred

Nice to have's:
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations, action plans, and campaigns.
- Strong communications skills. Able to translate complex issues into simple/intuitive communications and stories. Strong understanding of brand and creative development, as well as experience managing agency relationships.
- Deep understanding of both organic and paid social media strategies and tactics. Experience running large scale social campaigns with proven results. Influencer marketing experience is a plus.
- Deep understanding of email marketing with experience in driving segmentation strategies and running highly targeted email campaigns.
- Strong program management and organizational skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong quantitative reasoning, creativity and strategic skills. Able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven, and techy work environment.
