Product Marketing Manager

Aquent's client, a large tech company headquartered in Mountain View, CA, is seeking a Product Marketing Manager for a 6–month assignment at either their Mountain View or San Francisco location.

This role would specifically focus on creating amazing, high impact sales assets to help our client's partner sales organizations (“the field”) sell more effectively. You will also work closely with the core product marketing, product management and sales training and enablement teams to also understand the optimal methods and tactics to enable the field.

Main Responsibilities
-Maintain close relationships and understand the “pulse” of the field in relation to the sale of client's products and solutions.
-Create sales tools and collateral (pitch decks, compete battlecards, playbooks, cheat sheets, whiteboard drawings, etc.) as required by the field.
-Create innovative initiatives to drive the fast proliferation of products and solutions with the field.
-Drive alignment across Sales, Product, Developer Relations and Marketing functions to realize the shared goals of the marketing plan. Ensure the plan is executed.
-Help define the overall marketing strategy for all products in portfolio.

Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Marketing or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years work experience in product management, product marketing, or equivalent experience in the enterprise software technology industry.
- Proven analytical skills and strategic thinking.

Nice to Have:
- Experience in direct selling.
- Experience enabling or engaging with enterprise-class sales teams and channels.
- Experience working across organizational boundaries.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with sensitivity to cross-cultural, cross-audience, multimedia and data-driven communications.
- In-depth knowledge of enterprise software technology across the entire stack and a desire to learn new technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to develop creative / non-traditional solutions.
